Genesis: In the Beginning

The story starts here. From creation to Joseph, Genesis shows a good God who makes, rescues and keeps his promises to ordinary, flawed families.

Genesis is the first of the five books of Moses. Jewish and Christian tradition credits Moses as author; many scholars see a longer process of compiling. It covers creation to the death of Joseph in Egypt.
