Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account: if you create an account, your email address and a password (stored by our sign-in provider, Supabase; we never see your password).
• Your study data: notes, highlights, bookmarks, study progress, reading-plan progress, prayer list items and settings you choose to sync. Prayer list items are private to your account.
• Membership: if you subscribe to Plus, your plan status and renewal date. Payment details are collected and stored by Stripe, not by us.
• AI usage: a count of AI requests per account per day, to apply Free and Plus limits.
• Contact form and community posts: what you choose to send or post.

If you do not sign in, your notes and settings stay in your browser on your device.

AI features

AI features run only when you press a button (for example Ask or Explain). The question or passage you submit is sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, to generate the answer. Answers to common questions may be saved and reused for other readers, without your name or account.

Bible audio

Audio Bibles are streamed from the Bible Brain (Faith Comes By Hearing) servers. When you play audio, your device connects to their servers.

Other services

The site is hosted by Netlify. Fonts load from Google Fonts, some code from jsDelivr, and maps from OpenStreetMap. These services see your IP address when your browser loads from them.

What we do not do

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We do not use advertising trackers.

Your choices

You can export your data and request removal of your account from Settings, or contact us. Reminders are off unless you turn them on.

Children

Accounts are intended for people 13 and older.
