Revelation: A Glimpse of Glory

An overview of Revelation that presents the main ways Christians read it fairly, and centers on the Lamb who reigns and makes all things new.

John wrote from Patmos to seven churches in Asia (1:9-11), likely in the 90s AD under Domitian, though some date it to the 60s. Readers follow four main approaches: preterist (mostly fulfilled in the first century), historicist (church history), futurist (mostly future) and idealist (timeless conflict of good and evil). Many combine them. Views of the millennium (chapter 20) include premillennial, amillennial and postmillennial.
