Obadiah: Pride Before a Fall

The shortest book of the Old Testament. Edom gloated when Jerusalem fell; God warns that pride deceives and promises the kingdom shall be the LORD's.

Obadiah has one chapter of 21 verses. Edom descended from Esau, Jacob's brother. Many date it soon after Jerusalem's fall in 586 BC.
